May 7th 2024 7pm. This highly creative ensemble plays well known compositions by Herbie Hancock, Sonny Rollins, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, A.C. Jobim and Chick Corea, reminiscent of days gone by, but with a fresh twist, giving every tune a timeless modern sound. There is great emphasis on Latin American rhythms, melodic interpretation and a fluctuating demand on timing and dynamics.
